Castleruddery Stone Circle

As you can see above this is a large circle of stones. The diameter of the circle is approximate 100 feet. Along the outer edge under the trees were several stones that had a linear set of deep carvings (seen at right). There was apparently a motte to the south of the circle which might have been part of a motte and bailey structure.
