Ballynard Tower : with manor attached

This is believed to be built by the Chadwicks sometime in the middle 17th century. The Chadwicks may have been part of the Cromwellian immigration from England. The manor house attached to the front was probably built later in the 18th century. Ballynard is the town land on the high ground and also spelled Ballinard or Ballynahardy.
It is currently a private residence that is undergoing restoration.
